Hello friends, Happy Monday!
I want to start with a big congratulations to my sister Katie and new brother-in-law Kenny! Their wedding day was this past Saturday and it couldn't have been more perfect. I'm excited to share all the details from the matron of honor's (and mother of the ring bearer's) view today.
Our festivities started on Friday night at the rehearsal at Fort Caroline Baptist Church. After we rehearsed we attempted some family photos but Graham was definitely not feeling it. We somehow managed to snap a few good ones.

Following the rehearsal we all enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Secret Garden. It was quite interesting at times with Sawyer and Graham running around like crazy animals but we still enjoyed it. I'm thankful for everyone's patience towards them. I know they can bring the noise level up a few notches!
If you know me and my family you know we don't shy away from taking pictures. My sister's bridal party is full of some genuinely sweet, caring & beautiful women. Of course we had to snap some group shots!

And we can't forget about Mom!
Saturday, October 4th finally arrived and it was wedding time! The weather was sunny with a cool breeze and everyone was so happy to spend the day with the bride. The day started bright & early around 9:00 at our house in Nocatee. I consider myself lucky that my sister planned her wedding in Crosswater Hall at Nocatee - I didn't have to wake up early and get ready, everyone came to me! Ha.
We enjoyed The Donut Shoppe for breakfast and Zoe's for lunch and just sat around and talked and watched each other get pampered all morning. It was great!
Once the rehearsal began the real party started! We enjoyed a yummy dinner with a mashed potato bar, snapped pics in the photo booth and spent time with friends and family from near and far. I also had the honor of reading my poem I wrote for Katie to her and Kenny during the toast. I always enjoy doing that for the weddings I'm the honor attendant in and this one was the most special!
After that the excitement was kicked up a notch starting with the Father Daughter dance. Just take a look at the pictures of the end of it. My Dad has some moves! That must be where Katie and I get it from. I'm pretty sure my Mom agrees.
I know I speak for everyone in the wedding party when I say we had an amazing time. We danced, cried, laughed, hugged and just enjoyed each other's company in celebration of a great couple.
Many awesome memories were made!
Congrats again to Katie & Kenny!
Thanks for reading, I hope you have a great week!

Once we arrived at Crosswater Hall we got dressed and took pictures with the photographer. (Devon of Devon Donnahoo Photography, she's fabulous!) I also found some time to snap pics of Katie with our grandmother and the adorable ring bearer (my son) and flower girl (my niece Sawyer).
Isn't this venue perfection?! I also love the color combination my sister chose - navy & raspberry with gold accents. It was perfect for fall!
Me & my cousin Kaleigh snapping some pics in our comfortable and affordable bridesmaid dresses.
Special moment with Katie & Grandmama.
Graham the ring bearer & Sawyer the flower girl. Aren't they just the cutest?!
Finally 4:00 rolled around and it was time for the ceremony. It was beautiful (unfortunately I don't have any pictures since I was in it). Graham walked down the aisle holding my hand and he did such a good job! He also sat through the whole ceremony relatively quietly with Sawyer.
After they were pronounced Mr. & Mrs. the bridal party took more pics with the photographer then returned to the bridal room to relax for a bit before the reception. You know what that means - more photo ops!
My family, I love them more than words can say!
Love my sissy!

So sweet!
My Dad is the best!
Isn't Katie's dress gorgeous?
G insisted on wearing Papa's sunglasses for the rest of the night.
By the end of the night Sawyer & Graham had stole the show!
