Monday, Monday... back again.

Hello friends!  I hope you enjoyed your weekend.  The weather has been gorgeous here in North Florida lately.  It's still a little on the cooler side but I'll take it.

These first few weeks blogging have been an absolute joy.  I love sharing my thoughts, outfits, recommendations, and stories with all of you.  With that said, there are a few things I'm starting to notice: you guys love words of wisdom and styled posts and you're not as wild about workouts.  Because of this, I am going to make every effort to have a styled post at least once a week and cut Workout Wednesday to every other Wednesday.  How does that sound? :)

Now on to today's outfit.  I've been eager to share one of my favorite new pieces with you - my gold tulle skirt!  With the Winter Olympics in full swing I thought a gold outfit would be fitting.  Originally this skirt was midi length but I had to get it shortened.  Yes I know midi skirts are very popular right now but I'm only 5'4 and I don't feel like they look right on me.  So here it is!  I paired it with my favorite peplum shirt and my trusty gold belt.  Since I couldn't decide how to wear the peplum - out or tucked in - we took pictures both ways.  Which way do you prefer?

P.S. - Thanks to my bestie Emily for taking my pics!

  1. Love this! I can't decide which way I love the shirt more? It looks great both ways and provides two different looks.

  2. I love everything about this outfit, the gold mixed with the neutrals, the flare of the shirt, everything. And you have such beautiful blue eyes. I hate that the scarf is sold out though.
